A SMALL TOWN IN MICHIGAN—

Hey, I’m Terri—a yoga teacher, certified spiritual life coach, and the heart behind That Spiritual Cowgirl. I grew up in a small town always craving something more—deeper connection, greater purpose, and a life that felt truly mine.

I found yoga in 2016 while navigating college life and the physical demands of playing soccer. What started as stress relief turned into a powerful journey inward. Through the teachings of yoga, I discovered Ayurveda, the chakras, meditation, and the magic of truly embodying these practices in everyday life.

In 2019, I took a leap and left college to follow what lit me up. Then in 2022, I became a Certified Spiritual Life Coach through the Dharma Coaching Institute. Since then, I’ve shared my work with communities across the U.S., Costa Rica, and now, New Zealand.

I was raised on a 4th-generation family farm, but have always felt a deep pull to explore more—within myself and along my spiritual journey. That spark of curiosity is what led me here, and is what continues to guide me.

I created That Spiritual Cowgirl as a space to embrace all the parts of who we are—wild and grounded, soft and strong, curious and clear. My deepest passion is helping others come home to themselves. Whether through movement, coaching, or conversation, I’m here to help you feel more connected to your body, your soul, and the life that’s waiting for you.

I’m devoted to helping women reconnect with their fire—that deep sense of fulfillment, purpose, and passion that makes life feel alive. I work with women from all walks of life, guiding them to integrate spiritual practices that help them uncover who they truly are, expand into their next chapter, and build meaningful, soul-nourishing relationships—with themselves and the world around them.

I created That Spiritual Cowgirl for women like me—women who crave a life that’s rich, real, and soul-quenching. A life that honors both the magic and the mess.
